Installation

Installation Motive Monkey on the motorcycle:

Motive Monkey is provided with a USB for powering and uses 2 screws for mounting on the lefthand handlebar. Mounting and dismounting on regular basis is (for the prototype) not advised.

Powering:

Motive Monkey is typically powered via USB and therefore equals 5 volts DC. Power usage is very low (mAmp’s). In case the USB outlet keeps power after shutting down the bike, Motive Monkey eventually will drain the battery.

Configuration

Scenic uses the native language on the Iphone for its menus and labels. In this manual we assume English is used.

Step 1. Please update to the latest version of Scenic: v 3.19 or higher.

Step 2. Setup Bluetooth connection between Scenic on iphone and the Motive Monkey device.

(Scenic will answer: ‘Motive Monkey connected’. After this first time Scenic will automatically connect to Motive Monkey when it is powered on. No passkey is needed. The order in which you power up Scenic or Motive Monkey does not matter.)

Step 3. Configure button mapping in Scenic.
